PLEASE NOTE: All Planet Arts Classes are $3 and held upstairs in the Willard Arts Center at 450 A Street. When ordering online, please carefully select the appropriate AGE category for the Child, then select the dates/classes that the child will be participating in. You will receive an email confirmation with your online purchase.
June 8: Let’s Fly a Kite Make a kite using simple materials, decorate it together and fly it through Downtown Idaho Falls.
June 15: Put It Together Discover the endless possibilities of creating sculpture using found and recyclable objects.
June 22: Painting – All about Color! Experience painting through the exploration of color.
June 29: Cartooning and Visual Storytelling Invent your own superhero, creatures or comic personalities while learning to tell a story with pictures!
July 6: Altered Books Workshop Explore and experiment with collage and stencil methods in this mixed media class.
July 13: Soft Sculpture By using both unconventional and traditional methods to explore the qualities of “soft” materials, this class is aimed to inspire material inventiveness and possibility.
July 20: Mixed Media in 2D Traditional and contemporary approaches to artistic expression through a variety of dry and wet media.
July 27: Experience Art Young artists are invited to experience art through multiple media in this excellent introduction to materials and creative methods!
