The Idaho Falls Arts Council plans to create an arts education center in the historic Rio Theater on Broadway in downtown Idaho Falls. ARTitorium on Broadway will feature a 5,500 sq ft children’s arts education center on the main floor; a 160+ seat community theater and recording studio in the balcony.
Scheduled to open late summer 2012, ARTitorium on Broadway will offer area youth and their families unique arts opportunities. The interactive arts education center will host over a dozen high and low tech art experiences. The intimate community theater located in the balcony will play host to concerts, recitals, lectures, and films. Furthermore, the Idaho Falls Arts Council is excited to continue their educational outreach in the larger classroom space that the Rio Theater provides.
