Heather Freeman: Personal Demons
May 7 - July 3, 2011
Opening reception begins May 7, 7:00 pm.
After collecting confessions of "personal demons" through the social networking site of Facebook, Ms. Freeman found that these personal demons often pointed, surprisingly, to unique qualities of that particular person's character. Through the use of juxtaposed imagery and visual symbols she attempts to "celebrate these self-perceived insecurities as great unbeknownst strength."

Phil Joanou: The Women

Opening Reception beings July 7, 5:00pm.
In this body of work, Phil Joanou celebrates the Eternal feminine by employing allegory, classical references and a broad palette. A former advertising executive and founder of Partnership for a Drug Free America, Mr. Joanou earned a masters degree in painting from the New York Academy of Art.
