Hall Gallery

Reception with the artist Friday, June 16, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Willard Arts Center in conjunction with Idaho Falls Gallery Walk. Reception supported by KISU, FM-91, Your Ear to the World.

Sally Coffin is a self-taught artist and illustrator from Montana with a passion for genealogy. She has created a series of illustrations to tell the story of her family and their achievements back to the 1600s. For example, her ancestor Tristram Coffin Sr. immigrated from England in 1642 and later was one of the original owners who purchased Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in 1659. She uses a mix of collage and painting in her work. She will be publishing these images as a story book.
