Matinees & Workshops

Along with presenting performing and visual arts, part of IFAC's mission is to educate and introduce the arts to our community and particularly the youth. Every year we offer a selection of student matinees for schools to attend and special workshops and masterclasses led by visiting artists.

Doktor Kaboom is back with two different student matinees and an exciting family matinee on Saturday!

About Look Out, Science is Coming

A series of increasingly spectacular, and often successful, demonstrations of the physical sciences, with a focus on the scientific method. Includes an homage to Mister Wizard, a tabletop catapult, illusions of the mind, and chemical reactions.

About It's JUST Rocket Science

Utilizes the physics of space exploration to demonstrate clearly that science is for everyone, not just the people who are already good at it. Also focuses on the message that science is not hard, it just takes effort. That's not hard, that's just work, and that's just life.
