Colonial Theater Package (non-production)
(Maximum 4 hours)
Commercial Rates
$350 plus tech staff
Member & Nonprofit Rates (Producer Level or Higher Members)
$275 plus tech staff
Member Artists & Arts Organizations
$225 plus tech staff
Note: These rates are for private events with no admission fees.

Additional Service Charges:
-Rental fee’s should be applied for the time of the event, as well as the time it takes to set-up/clean-up
-Every rental includes a $50 custodial fee
-For events before 9am or after 5pm an Arts Council staff member is required at $12/hr

-A NONREFUNDABLE deposit of half the room rental fee is required to reserve the date
-Theater rentals require at least 2 tech staff members, each ranging from $14-$16/hr
-IFAC will provide tables and chairs as needed. Please ask for an inventory sheet for available supplies.

MEMBER ARTS OR MEMBER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
To qualify for this rate, your organization must be a member in good standing of the Arts Council AND one of the following: IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization, nonprofit service club/organization (e.g. Rotary, Kiwanis), nonprofit school, government agency or bona fide arts organization that actually provides arts education to the community (e.g. dance or vocal studio).

Evening Show
$295.00 or 8% of gross ticket sales, whichever is greater.
Labor: Minimum 1 Sound Engineer, 1 Lighting Director, 1 Stage Manager, and 2 Head Ushers (Labor costs range from $10.00-$16.00 per hour depending upon duties.)
Four Hour Minimum Labor Requirement for each position.
If either of our pianos are required for the show, there will be an additional tuning charge.
Rentals are for a 7 hour block.  Additional charges will apply after 7 hours.
Technical staff is paid until the performance is over and everyone has left the building.

Day Show
$175.00 (if you have both a day and evening show)/ $295.00 (if day only) or 8% of ticket gross, whichever is greater.
Labor: Same as above

Technical Rehearsal
$125.00 for a 4 hour block + Technical Support (Labor costs range from $10-$16/hr).

THE IDAHO FALLS ARTS COUNCIL

Evening Show

$450.00 or 10% of gross ticket sales, whichever is greater
Labor: Minimum 1 Sound Engineer, 1 Lighting Director, 1 Stage Manager and 2 Head
Ushers (Labor cost range from $10.00-$16.00 per hour depending upon duties.)

*LABOR IS JOINTLY DETERMINED BY THE PROMOTER AND THE COLONIAL THEATER’S TECHNICAL DIRECTOR. THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR WILL HAVE FINAL AUTHORITY TO MAKE ALL STAFFING DETERMINATIONS.

 *ANY PROMOTER REQUESTING THAT BEER AND WINE NOT BE SOLD AT A PERFORMANCE MAY DO SO WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND A $100.00 BUYOUT. 

*UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL TICKET INCOME BE RELEASED PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE BEING COMPLETED. THIS IS TO PROTECT TICKET HOLDERS AND THE COLONIAL THEATER IN CASE OF CANCELLATION.
