The East Idaho Community Band is thrilled to appear at the Colonial Theater for an evening of lively, heartfelt, and truly memorable music. Under the direction of Dr. Daniel Baldwin—a conductor known for his passion, musical excellence, and joyful spirit—the band will perform a rich variety of works for concert band and percussion. From the vibrant energy of Bayou Breakdown to the soaring beauty of Time Remembered by Philip Sparke, the program promises something for every listener.

We’re also honored to feature guest soloist Dr. Matthew Morris, bassoonist, performing Arthur Frackenpohl’s Concerto for Bassoon and Band. Dr. Morris is a distinguished performer and educator, currently serving as Associate Professor of Instruction in Bassoon and Music Theory at Ohio University. He holds degrees from Florida State University, Baylor University, and East Carolina University. His performance career includes appearances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Bolshoi Theater, and the Kennedy Center, as well as seven world premieres at the International Double Reed Society conference. Dr. Morris's artistry and warmth make him a must-hear. This is an evening not to be missed!
