About the Idaho Falls Arts Council

Since its founding in 1990, the Idaho Falls Arts Council has committed to hosting an array of events, arts, performances, and venues to feature local and international talent within Idaho Falls and its surrounding areas. Now consisting of the Willard Arts Center, the historic Colonial Theater, the ARTitorium, and the Civic Center, these settings provide the means to have an annual impact of $2.7 million on the local community in the form of art galleries, 10 - 16 mainstage shows, 8 visual arts exhibitions, and community events all year long. The continued support of its staff members and volunteers accommodate the thousands of individuals who partake in the local arts community.

Idaho Falls Gallery Walk

Enjoy works by artists from around the region and around the globe at various community galleries, museums, and artisan stores. Admission is completely free and no registration is required. Some locations offer refreshments, live music, and artist demos. See more HERE.

River Concert Series

The River Concert Series takes place on summer Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. and are FREE to the public! Concerts are located on the Greenbelt Stage (near Memorial between D and E Streets). See more HERE.

Planet Arts

$4 Art Classes from Noon - 1 pm on the Second Floor of the Willard Arts Center for ages 5-8. Every Wednesday through the Summer! See more HERE.

ARTitorium on Broadway

ARTitorium is an interactive art center for children to give them art experiences that are meaningful, entertaining, sometimes noisy, and always fun. Current attractions include art-making software, a green screen studio, stop-motion animation stations, collaborative murals, and noise-making installations. See more HERE.
